Krista Mussler was born in Fayetteville and resides in Rogers, Arkansas. As an infant, she was diagnosed with craniosynostosis, a condition which, left untreated, would have resulted in physical and mental retardation. This was corrected through surgery at Arkansas Children's Hospital. Krista gives back to ACH by creating Christmas Card designs for its Auxiliary fund raiser. Her manger scenes have been selected for production the past 4 years.
One of the highest points in Krista's art journey is her Greenville Bridge piece winning a statewide competition and being displayed at the Arkansas Governor's Mansion. As she was interviewed for this honor by a writer for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, she was asked "Where does your skill come from?" Krista answered, "God, and a lot of practice."
Her work has also been featured by the Bentonville/Bella Vista Chamber of Commerce, Studio 225 in Bentonville, Art on the Creeks in Rogers and the Spring Creek Festival in Springdale. She studies art both through her graphic design course work as a senior at Providence Classical Christian Academy and as a painting and drawing student at Studio 7, both in Rogers.
