2016:
For the fourth year in a row, Krista's manger scene submission was selected by the Arkansas Children's Hospital holiday card fund raiser. She is again grateful for the opportunity to give back to such a great cause.
70 artists were featured at Art on the Creeks in Rogers. Two of those artists were students, and one of those was Krista. She left the event very grateful for all the support she received, including the encouragement from people from different parts of the country.
Krista's Greenville Bridge was selected to display in the Governor's Mansion during the month of April, an honor bestowed to only 34 student artists state-wide. She met Governor Asa Hutchinson's wife Susan at a reception on April 30. Her story was featured in the newspaper, and a link to that same article can be found here."
Competing against over 900 college students and other high schoolers, Krista's watercolor reindeer painting was moved to the semi-finalist round in the Gallery Collection greeting card competition. Her work placed in the top 5 percent of the overall submissions.
The Arts Center of the Ozarks chose to display a couple of Krista's entries as part of its Senior High Gallery event during the month of March.
The theme for the 2015-2016 Providence Academy yearbooks is "Everything in Between." Krista's interpretation of that using many colored pencils to form a gradient effect is selected for the yearbook cover.
2015:
Krista's Christmas Card fund-raiser submission was selected by Arkansas Children's Hospital for the third year in a row.
Krista was part of a young artist's showcase at Bentonville's downtown Studio 223.
Krista was asked to quickly produce a piece demonstrating beauty for the Northwest Arkansas Beautiful Girl's Retreat. Hundreds of girls were greeted by her large 22x28 inch butterfly painting as it helped set the tone for the event.
2014:
Krista was honored to meet Arkansas first lady Ginger Beebe at a reception in Little Rock for artists selected in the Arkansas Children's Hospital holiday greeting card fund raiser event. Her manger scene was said to be the top-selling card for the second year in a row. Krista's Fresh Market bag design wins the competition at the Rogers Arkansas store and was featured in social media by the national chain.

2013:
Krista's pastel manger scene is selected for production in the Arkansas Children's Hospital holiday card fund raiser. It is said to have raised the most money for the hospital among all of the cards that year.
Krista displays artwork (and her puppy) at "An Evening of Art and Dance" featuring young artists at Frisco Station Mall in Rogers.
